Bird watching

The bay of Pollença is a true paradise for bird watching because many migratory birds fly over the area on their way to warmer places and often stay for a stopover.

Hotel Llenaire is only about 15 km from the nature reserve S’Albufera de Mallorca in Alcúdia which is one of the most important wetlands of Europe and is located at the foothills of the mountains of Serra de Tramuntana – one of the last breeding grounds of black vultures.

Numerous museums like the Fundación Miró, the Es Baluard Museum and the Casal Solleric in Palma, the Museum Ben Jakober in Alcúdia or the Museum of Modern Art in Sóller only are a few examples. Hiking and Cycling

Hotel Llenaire is located on the northern foothills of the impressive mountain chain of Serra de Tramuntana that stretches from Andratx in Majorca’s southwest to Pollença in the north. In 2011, the mountains were classified as world heritage by UNESCO. The possibilities for hiking and cycling are nearly limitless there. Also, the small coastal villages of Serra de Tramuntana are an absolute highlight one should not miss: they are extremely charming and truly special. Visit for example Valldemossa, Sóller and Deià. A visit to the monastery Santuari de Lluc, a historic pilgrimage site in the middle of the mountains, should also be on top of your list. We are here to create your personal agenda and to recommend the best routes. Especially for cyclists, Majorca is like heaven with numerous fantastic cycling routes for all levels of fitness. We have a bicycle garage where you can safely park your bike and provide tools to make small repairs. Do you wish to rent a bicycle? Beaches

Our location in the bay of Pollença offers numerous possibilities for sunbathing and swimming: the beach Playa Puerto de Pollença is only 1 km away. And the beaches Playa de Llenaire and the bay of Puerto de los Cocodrillos in Bonaire are nearby as well. Also we highly recommend to take the ferry from the harbour of Pollença to the famous beach Playa de Fomentor during your stay. A few kilometres further ahead, you will find stunning beaches such as Cala San Vicente, the bay of Alcúdia, the Playa de Muro, the beach of Alcanada and many more – they are easily accessible by car. If you prefer smaller bays and beaches that are a little more off the beaten track, you should absolutely visit the bays Cala Figuera, Cala Murta and Cala Moquer. They are not directly accessible by car and a visit thus includes a little walk
